Ok, here is the deal, I just got a xl-5 woth 2 trinity reference zapped and matched racing packs. I charged them up and ran them till I noticed a big chage in power like I have come to understand is what I am susposed to do. But the question I have is when I put them on the charger (superbrain) I get a read out like 6.89volts. Or something like that. Is it normal to have a volt reading that high???? I am vey new to this please help

Yes, the voltage will be low when running dead, but will quickly spring back up to a nominal voltage. You don't have to run them that low and may even hurt them by doing so. Stopping at the very first sign of slow down is best. (the point right before you describe as "big change in power"
