Just curious about if there is anyone else running on Old Man Winters white stuff or his frozen drink ?
I am , and am waiting to see if anybody else is , before I start posting some vids which will destroy any current "speed" records set . ( yes , there is a Garmin Etrex mounted on her at start and shows all the way till she comes back in )
Anybody ????
( give ya a hint , on frozen snow or ice , ariboats run a LOT faster ! ! ! )
The boat is my WHIZZER with a new engine on her ... Spent a few pennines on the enw engine , but was WELL worth it . Jett Fire LX60

I would love to see those video's, I run on the snow when it's fresh and soft, tough to control on the hard pack that forms after
a week of no new snow, and today were in a ice storm, so we'll see on running maybe sunday morning before the boys( the pats)
finish there perfect season.

Make yourself a set of "runners" for the bottom . ( hint - think of figure skate runners when making them - without the front grips . and NOT too tall either - no more than 1/4 inch tall)

Here in Florida we don't exactly get a lot of snow (10+ years ago was the most recent). So I can't say I've ever run on snow. Thinking about it, I don't even have one airboat project done yet anyways(sig again ). I have that old Big Dumas Swamp buggy that I need to finish some day, my current 24" build, and I plan to build a buggy board some time since I have a spare .40 just laying around. Maybe a brushless mini and a gasser in the far future too, I also have many other non-airboat projects.

Anyways, I was surfing youtube a while back and came across one of you're whizzer vids. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ud254ZZo7rY That looked like fun!

Well, Geez.....You KNOW that I run on snow and ice. LOL Bring on the videos Terbo. The fastest I could get one of my 1/4 scale gassers to go on snow was 44 MPH. But then again it was a 32...or was it a 36 Lb boat. I don't remember. Well anyway, I would love to see another snow/ice run video.

We sometimes get a day or two of frozen stuff here each winter but none so far this year. Today it was 82 degrees outside.

So Boatman has some vids...

Anyone else?
