thanks for the idea of the front sway bar started the A-finals in 10th and worked up to 6th before getting crossed up on the fastest part of the track and being cleaned up sweetly, 2 cars out in one move.
One broken hub, bent drive shaft, fractured shock tower, bent upper control arm diff punched about 10mm to the right side, slight bend in chassy.
2 weeks to get it ready for the next round

the last pic is of a duratrax mod we did at the track to keep racing with Caster shocks, came in handy, to keep the EP duratrax racing today as well The shocks are from a spare set that i carry with me put 20 wt oil in the with the white springs from a buggy front shocks. is was sprung like a Go-cart but got it home

The K8t was classified at 9th with the duratrax finished 2nd.

Man you must have gotten hit HARD!! Sounds like you were doing good and working your way up. I assume you put a front swaybar on?? At least you got a couple weeks to get it done. If you need anything you cannot get let me know.

yeah i ran the front sway bar ordered a new factory kit as well as putting this one together. I will be running the older car at the Meakin Park Model Raceway for the Winter Cup then the new car for the Australian title. My major sponser can get me parts with in 48 hours and there 2 drivers also run the Caster ZX-1 so we help each other out at the track, it's handy that some of the parts swap from the buggy to the truggy and back hehehe

To help with the hairpin turns and to get the K8t turning better i'm going to try and drop the front diff oil from 10,000 wt down to 5,000 wt and see how it goes

When we can get all 3 cars together i'll get some pic's and post them up to see.
