Cool video..Looked a bit pushy on exit..

Thanks, It was pushing! That night I changed out my center diff fluid from 25k to 10k and am going to change to the lower hole on the bottom of my rear upright to see if it loosens the rear end some to come around.

It was only running 235 degrees. What you heard is that stupid problem the Picco motors have with the carbs and small air leaks. It was ALOT worse and I sealed it the best I could but does not do it all the time. I am probably going to change out carbs after this weekends race and see if I can get a different one to fit in the bore of the crankcase.

Well the race today did not go as planned. They had problems with the transponder system so we pretty much ran for fun ALL DAY from 8:30 till 4:30. Lots of fun though and the K8T and ZX1-R ran AWESOME!!!

The steering mods I did made a big difference in the feel of the truck in very tight corners and by me moving the rear upright into the bottom hole and rear upper arm to the inner bottom hole it brought on a whole new feel to the truck it was WAY looser to drive and to whip the back end around like my ST-RR!! To say the least EVERYONE at the track was VERY impressed since my last outing where it was my first real run with it. There was also alot of mugen guys there that were real impressed with it and the Caster ZX1-R buggy.

Also got my 3-piece Caster engine mounts in http://www.holeshothobbies.com/servlet/the-21/Caster-K8T-fdsh-ZX1-dsh-R-Aluminum-3-dsh-Piece/Detail they are awesome, So much easier to get the motor in and out.

Im thinking of buying one of these (RTR) in the next few days. Saw it at my LHS yesterday and I was instantly impressed. It looks very high quality for the price.

Whats the stock engine like ?

I have not seen a RTR in person, just the kits. I think the engines are something like a SH engine which should be good. Only drawbacks on this this truck are the stock tires and the hinge pin e-clips. Change those or just put shoe goo on the clips and you should be good to go. You can see the other mods we have done here but they are not necessary unless you want to race and stuff but for just having fun they are awesome they way they come.

Not sure. I saw to for sale on ebay and one guy said it was as SH .28 in it but Caster's site says it comes with a .21 so who knows. Looks like a Go-Tech to me by looking at the head. I have been wanting to try one of those motors. People have been saying lately that they are great.

Forgot to mention I switched from a 13 tooth clutch bell to a 14 tooth and smoothed out the power alot on the picco and made the K8T easier to drive. Motor was winding out a little too much for me on a straight that I thought was not too long. (not to mention my motor came loose and chewed up my 13 tooth ) LOL!

Just got the 3 piece engine mount for my truggy, Pretty nice and much easier to get the motor in and out and not have to reset the gear mesh every time.
