Well finally I got my Caster Racing K8T truggy in and all I can say is WOW! The quality of this thing is on par if not better than my Hyper ST Pro and Kyosho ST-RR. This is NOT a cheap imitation truggy by any means at all from the looks of it. From what I have heard this truggy has been doing pretty good in and around texas and stuff. This is the Pro Team kit which comes 80% assembled for you already. It comes with all of the aluminum upgrades for the shock towers, braces and hinge pin holders. Also comes with full CVD's for driveshafts and axles. Cannot wait to put it all together. Only negatives I can see is the tires which IMO SUCK! They are about as thin as a piece of paper and tall as hell but everybody upgrades anyways and I have a set of crimefighters to put on. Even though this truggy is assembled it comes with 2 sets of extra diff gaskets and shims and extra hinge pin holders for different degrees. Also comes with wheels, clutch bell, clutch and springs and fuel line. I have a bunch of pics so you guys can see it real good since there are no real good pics of this truggy anywhere. So here ya go! will be a couple of posts of pics probably.

Mugen should be proud. [:)] Just joking. It does remind of a OCM though. Otherwise, looks like a well built kit. Gotta give a report on how she runs.

They should be right?[:D] Not bad for 300 plus shipping I would say! I have yet to see a mugen up close and would like to so I can see the differences. I will be looking at alot of pics to see what they are. It does look a little like both the mugen and ocm but more like the mugen. Here are more pics of it more together. All I am putting together for tonight. Only thing so far in the build that has to be addressed is when you assemble the shocks and install the small clip that holds the o-rings in, you have to bend the tab on it down flatter or it will rub the shock shaft.

Here are some pics of my Picco .28 with my Jammin JP-3 pipe. Still got a little more to do on the build. Waiting on my Hitec 5955 333oz servo and a hitec 645 for throttle.

Most people at the tracks I run on use them for throttle and brake. Hell, I even have a spektrum 590 servo in 2 of my other truggies and that is SLOW compared to the 645 but does the job for me. I know it is not as fast as the 100$$ throttle servos but just cannot justify spending that much for it. Just the steering because they take all the abuse and need to be strong.

I agree with vnmsgt. I use the 645 for throttle on my buggy with no issues.

They have good steering, I'm not a fan of the extremely skinny oversize spur.

I just got mine this week too. The truggy is very well built, its has a little shorter chassis than the mugen. The shock towers are a little different as well. They are a little shorter for lower ceter of gravity. Its pretty much identical to the mbx5t. The new diff gears shimmed out good and it has no problems at all. Very solid truggyand definitly a podium contender. Ill upload photos later. shootz.

Looks good my only whine is it looks like just another generic truggy design (hey it works right?), other than Losi no one else is really bothering to try new things...

I know the chassis is slightly shorter but the front to rear wheelbase is the same as the mugen and my other truggies, I think the arms are designed somewhere to move the wheels slightly toward the front and back to make up for it. It also has the same width as my ST-RR and that is without offset wheels too. Well if it works why change it? Losi is one of the few that does make there stuff unique and is not afraid to try stuff. It's funny how everyone else never has nothing even close to a losi's design. You would think they would since they handle so well!

Looks great!! Much better than I expected. However, I do have a couple of minor gripes myself: The front body mounts... it looks like they limit you on your upper shock mounting position since they use they same holes. That just seems weird to me. Maybe they had the parts machined before they remembered they needed body mounts up front.... lol, who knows. Is it the same in the rear? Does the steering ackerman really need to be that thick? However minute, just looks like extra weight to me. [;)] -Howard

I see what you mean but most people that I know or what I have seen do not put there shocks that low so I think it would not be a problem, for me. I checked the rear and it is the same. On the steering ackerman I am assuming you mean the turnbuckle and rod ends and not the plate right. Yes they are thick but I like them like that, make them stronger. All you have to do is install those and put the wing mount, wing and wheels and tires on, paint the body and your done. YOU LIKE THAT TABLE CLOTH HUH?[sm=kiss.gif] I can mail it you LOL! Just bought a JConcepts body for a mugen for my caster!! Trying to decide what color to paint it. Think I am going to keep it simple.

I LIKE THE PINK IDEA..YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO BACK UP THE PINK COLOR[sm=punching.gif]..PLUS I LIKE THE BRIGHT COLORS THERE EASY TO SEE ON THE TRACK..
