Status: offline 		Just wanted to let you know i picked up a hurricane for my wife a couple of weeks ago, used from a member of rcu. Dennis has donated an engine (sts .28). It has an sts tuned pipe on it, the good one with the spring. I want to get something together for her for when she feels better. She usually goes bashing and racing with us, yes she's real cool!!!!! I am sure you guys know but if you dont, she had 2 brain surgerys in december for 2 anurysms. she will be recovering for the next 3-5months. I want to make something nice for her. The month she spent in the hospital stinked but she liked to hear the stuff you guys had to say, i printed out a card one of the members made for her. I just wanted to see if anyone or a dealer etc. wanted to donate something for the car, something to make is special. Just an idea. I want to get a clear body, white wing and rims so i can dye them pink for her. i will take pictures of the progress and keep it on the qt until it is done. Figured it may be fun to do.

good idea?

I had just joined here in the begining of January and was doing some back reading, I recall she was quite touched by the response from this little online community. When things aren't going well, sometimes the littlest things can brighten up your day. In this hectic world we live in, it's sometimes tough to remember that people really do care... pretty cool to remind her every time she drives the 'cane IMO.

I'm new and can't offer much, can't airbrush, but I'll think of something.

Status: offline 		Ehroof, what about having people draw up some pics,inspirational slogans, or messages of well wishing and you print them out on sticker paper and applying them to the car? kinda like a "GET WELL CAR"(d).
Just my thoughts.

The sticker idea is great, i would sticker it with peoples screen names and stuff. anything would be nice and deeply appreciated. i could post pics of it too, i will take a picture of it now, its the green one with the green rims, not so girlish, my wife is gorgeous, you would never think she is a "tomboy" but she is cool, beautiful, smart, she is the total package and the green doesnt match her, lol. I mean i can do it myself but it would mean more from "everone", if you know what i mean.

Status: offline 		You know with everyone helping out ehroof I would like to suggest for it to be of multi color's to show the effort and care of everyone pitching in and from different states. Like from here in Tennessee, something of the color orange for UT the Tenn Vols colors could use Gold color ?

Status: offline 		Ok guys and gals, here's a picture of the car the way it is today, i bought the car with the aluminum arms, just have to put them on.

here is a list of stuff people have and want to donate:
1. clermontmotorsports.com: sts .28 engine
2. firebird78: clear body
3. CORR: hot pink steering knuckles
4. kuppler: braided fuel lines (it has the purple fuel filter already)

If you want the address to send it to, pm or email me

i will keep the list updated, and thanks guy, i will give her the car when its all done, i am thinking a pink theme for the body, wings and rims, i would dye white wing and rims? good idea?

I will buy a sticker sheet for the printer and be sure to put the names of people who donated on the body. I think it will be great!!!!! I will make a video of me giving the car to her when its done.
