Well I finally finished the Yak tonight. It's getting a little nicer here and I hope to fly it sometime next week if I'm lucky. It's a little on the nose heavy side right now but I'll adjust that as needed. I'm shocked at the weight though, it's very heavy. I'm at 9.2 pounds and just don't understand why after reading other weights people have. I'm using Hitec 5645's all the way around, not the best servo as far as centering goes, I forget the battery size I stuck in it but I think it's a 2500 anyway, SWB servo arms, OS 120 engine, True Turn spinner and most of the hardware is what came with it. I did use a different clevis from Great Planes on the tail and all the ball links are upgraded. Just does'nt seem right compared to other peoples set ups. I figured I'd be around 8 pounds but 9.2 is shocking!!! It defeats the purpose of why I put this together. I wanted alot of wing without all this weight for 3D.
