The first one is a copterx with a plastic head, which there is nothing wrong with but it's not 100% compatible with a trex, and if it was 100% compatible with a trex which one of the 50 or so trex models that aren't even compatible with each other would it be 100% compatible with? The second one looks really cheap and the fact that it is on clearance should tell you something. I don't know why a person would buy either one of them when you can buy a Thunder Tiger E325 Mini Titan for $129.00.

The one is an old design. The zoom shogun is pretty dated compared to the rest of them out there. If you have all of the radio, motor, ESC, Gyro, there is the MX450 at tower for $150, here. If want to put it together the Mini Titan is also a good choice. There are many of them out there. Look for what is stocked around you so parts are no problem to get.

I have the 450 on the way. Hard to pass up for the price.

I'm not an expert on this but I do have a Mini Titian and love it. I am sure the MX450 is good also. As far as the electronics out of the Falcon you might be able to use some but I wouldn't get either one of these birds and throw sub par equipment in them or you might be right back where you started. I got mt MT with E-flite S75 servos in it and can't wait to get them changed out. On about the third or fourth gear surgery. I know you can get the MT ARF with the stock motor and ESC for about $240

cactus,

Where can you get a mini-Titan for $129.00 ? I'm now seriously considering that one. I'm trying to put a spec sheet together.
