I attempted to add a GY401 gyro to my Micro Heli Blade. I tried all types of settings via recommendations across various forums. There are two problems;
1. Tail motor pulses to compensate??
2. At times during power up the servos would pull hard down and chatter, then the Gyro Led would blink to low??

Rcvr - Futaba R146iP with Eflite 3in1 control and Eflite ESC. Attempted every setting on 3in 1 and GY401 I could think of or read about.

Put Eflite Gyro on all AOK.

I had the same problem. I think it has something to do with the delay and limiting settings. The GY240 should work fine on the CP Pro. I just put the GY401 on the Belt CP and it holds perfectly even in wind.

Thanks, Thought I overlooked something silly.

I also have the belt model and learned what gear alignment meant. Does the drag of the belt drive cause your blades to slow down very fast when pwoering down?? or do i have the belt to tight??

Mine takes a while to slow down. It could be the belt is too tight. Do you have short flight times? If so it probably is a tight belt. You should be able to push it half way in. So pretty much in between the other side of the belt and where the belt was that you are pushing. To tight of a gear mesh could also do that. I tried the suggestion of putting a piece of paper in between the pinion and main gear then pushing the motor as close to the main gear as possible to work really good.

What is the pinon you are using, 10 or 12 tooth?? I think the 10 tooth is the problem with the gear chewed up..

On my Belt CP it has a 140T main gear and a 10T pinion. With the stock CP Pro motor I have a 9T pinion.

Are You using a digital tail servo; make sure You have the gy401 dip switch turned to regular or digital; whichever is applicable or You'll burn up Your tail servo if it isn't digital.

The tail servo is digital and appears to be working fine once I set the correct servo throw. I have an E-Flite Park 370 5400KV and she started squealling and froze (thought is maybe load of belt drive??), this is the second main gear that is turing into a fine plastic dust?? Replacing motor and main gear, will attempt paper alignment and see if she grabs air. I will use the 10T pinon, thought maybe the 12T was the correct one and the 10T was causing the gear alignement issue.

Thanks for the feed back.

Will after chewing up two main gears I looked at the alignment thorugh a magnifying glass. The 10T pinon does not mesh with the main gear, it is close but off enough to not align in correctly. Heading to LHS to see what we can come up with..
