Hi Gang, Maybe this one is a bit off topic, if so forgive me...please!
I will be in Maryland for a couple of weeks, Millersville, to be more exact. I was wondering if there is a flying site anywhere in that vicinity? I would hate to miss an opportunity to fly and meet some new folks with like interests. I will be there the weekend of March 16 - 17.
Thanks,
Rob Bailey / Pickupsticks

Rob,

We would love to have you fly as our guest at the Prince George's RC Club field. It's about 20 minutes south of Millersville off Rt 301. we have a 40 x 400' paved runway and 100 x 800' grass field - perfect for your war birds. Drop me an e-mail when you'r eplanning to visit. More details and directions are available at www.aero-sports.com/pgrc.

Cheers,
Charlie Gettier

Charlie, Thank you very much for the invite! I'll be looking forward to meeting and flying with you. I probably won't be bringing any of my big warbirds...only bringing my truck...no trailer. I'll be staying in a hotel, and don't trust leaving my stuff unattended for extended periods while I'm at school for my business. Hey, I checked out your club website...very nice! I also saw a familiar name, John Zaner...is he in the club? I bought a FiberClassics Spitfire from him a few months ago. I had forgotten he lived in Maryland until I saw his name on the website. I met him in Delaware to pick up the airplane. I'll be in touch before I head down. I plan on arriving this sunday evening.
Best regards,
Rob Bailey
