WOW that's high!! I awhile back I inquired to a place in BC who is a distributor for the Bolly Scorpion. That plane shipped from Australia to my door was like $700 CAD.
Of course I can't remember who the distributor is! :

Paul,I have the Kit from Galtech, but have not progressed much due to other commitments. Finish of the glasswork is good.
I have video footage of flights of the original sent to me by Rene of Galtech Models and it looks impressive.

If you have any other queries, feel free to ask.

Bruce

Hi Guys,

Shop around and you will be amazed in the difference in quotes for freight. I just purchased a Boomerang kit from Alan Cardash and am having it shipped to Australia by air-freight.

The initial quote from FedEx was over 200 pounds (nearly $600 Aust). Alan checked around some other options and found a 6 day airfreight service using ParcelForce for less than half of what FedEx wanted. We could have gone even cheaper if I was prepared to allow around 4 weeks for shipping.

From what I have been told, the Boomerang comes in two large boxes so I'm sure you can get a much better quote.

Regards,
Garrett

I have dealt with Zmodels having purchased the sagitario, the G-91 and the Sukhoi.....all I have to say is ....WEAK!!! tha glass work is way too lite.....there is no internal ducting...and remember " you get what you pay for" compared to BVM or Avonds or Aviation design...Zmodel is way behind...
