I am going to try to swing by tomorrow..I knind of forgot my wifes birthday...I got the I don't want anything but help doing X...y...z.....well I dropped the bll for the first and hopefully only time. Tomorrow is her bday celbration at the parents house. I may be in the dog house for putting the trux b4 the wife.

If I can swing by after 3 I will. I will be in Shelton from 12-3

Thanks for the info on Integy.

Red, the Tmaxx is the problem child for the moment. The Smartech needs a spur install (from the Tmaxx stocker) and a problem solving on the slip on the old gear. I am just going to retighten the motor/etc and I am sure I'll be fine.

It is 12:33 and I am going totake a look at the Tmaxx.

Sorry rich, I am not looking for anymore r/c's really, need some money for a new transmitter and parts so I can make it to the 1/18th scale nationals in March. Is anyone else going? It'd be cool if some of you guys go.

I decided to hold off and just buy another Associated roller that I can mod and add brushless. I already have too many lipos so I will be all set in that category. So this March at the nats I will just be running the stock class. I did order some parts to improve the steering on the RC18B.

I never even touched a track until last Friday, hope to practice over the next month so I don't get last place at the nationals.

I believe it is the last weekend in MArch, won't conflict with the monster truck thing. Yeah they allow you to do steering upgrades, I actually was having a lot of trouble with the steering of the RC18B hope to get the parts in the mail soon and test the new setup out.

Ill look up the date and let you guys know it will be cool to know someone who is going up there.

Jombo, awesome! I just didn't want to spend the whole day somewhere not knowing anyone, at least now I will have someone to hang out with. It'd be awesome if you can video tape a race or 2 for me!

Just don't expect anythign spectacular, I have never raced in my life so anything above last place will be an accomplishment for me.

Got my hands on some setup sheets for previous nationals using RC18B's. Looks like I will be changing my springs and shock oil, look out in Fairfield soon I will have the hot setup! Especially with my fixed steering.

For anyone with Duratrax or Associated mini's, check out truerc.com. They have some VERY reasonable lipos for sale, assuming you have a charger already. Cost about the same as my NiMH batteries I have ($25 each ).

When I get my next associated truggy kit in, that will be fully lipo and brushless. I will be using these packs for the price I don't think they can be beat.
