Haha I'll try to NOT drive the Smartech after I fix it...love that truck!

I really can't wait for after work to see what kind of tune I get.

You bringing an 1/18 or the one you posted about before?

I'll get my Savage ready for Sunday, racing my RC18B on Friday night, have to keep my skills sharp fo rth enationals (ie don't want to get last place).

Once the nice weather hits I usually go flying r/c planes and helis, I will be going Friday nights mostly to race, and Sundays when it is windy (in CT more often than not).

Tonight I'll be dissambling the Savage engine and soaking it in alochol to dissolve the residue then lubing it up properly and it should be all set for. In fact I will have my ST-1 by then! Probably won't be broken in yet.

I'll be bringing that Thunder tiger mini on Friday and Sunday for anyone who wants to get into minis, and a Futaba 3PM radio for 50 bucks as I got a really nice Hitec radio that can replace every radio system I own.

I was pretty good at flying gliders and trainers...I never pursued anything larger then a .60 size or 4 strokes. Nothing acrobatic or fancy. The biggest was a 4 meter 5 channel fiberglass one I told you about but my friend owned it but let me pilot it once in a while. Ran on a huge 10 cell 14.4 volt pack and a huge can motor that was the size of a Budweiser. That thrust was unforgetable! Fast as heck and could stay up as long as my neck could take it! Full flaps, fiberglass, aeilerons (speld corekt), elevators/rudder/etc. After a while it was just too much anguish to put into setting up a plane only to see it disappear in the sky followed by a thud. Just too labor intensive when things broke and I didn't own a jig. Lots of epoxy on the carpet of my room as a teen! Must have burned myself a dozen time trying to get Monokote just right.

What a ton of fun until I crashed one of my favorite builds and never had the courage to rebuild it. I crashed a very nice Goldberg Electra and a Dynaflight Butterfly with the 100"wingspan. I converted the butterfly to electric after a while but originally it actually has an .049! The head was the glow plug i remember. What fun! Kyoso had a neat V tail or T tail kit I forget the same.

When I see Stratfortresses and Spruce Goose kits I almost can't watch them on Youtube. To see 100's of hours of labor reduced to nothing is a bit like watching someone get hit by a car for me.

I have a thundertiger kit still but I parted some of it out and I have to fix some of the covering. Those graupner folding props could pull a house!

Ha yeah, I plan on buying a hotliner for the summer, basically a fiberglass glider that can go around 80-100 mph. I am really into racing planes now, I can do 3D aereobatics (stuff like hovering) with all diferent size planes.

I have a couple speed projects on the block, first one is a nice scale sea fury pylon racer I'd like to hit 80 with. Then I also have a Kyosho reno race rI'd like to go around 130 give or take *as long as the wings can handle it).

Let me know if you ever want to get back into ircraft ha ha, although one r/c hobby is enough!

Jombo, bring the ST-1 with the new engine man! Would love to see that thing run!

Maybe I can break in my thunder tiger by Sunday that will be my goal.

And BPD, don't worry just run your truck, we aven't started organized races yet (that's in april).
