Status: offline 		im a freshman in high school and i am taking an intro to engineering class because i wanna be an engineer.

but my teacher said we are going to build CO2 dragsters!

just though i'd share...

Status: offline 		i made a streamliner with a hollowed out basswood block.. it was hella fast, but fragile when it hit the end of the track into the pillow, it blew up!!!

its an angles block of wood a little longer than a piece of paper and about 1-2 inches wide maybe.

we have to carve it out

Status: offline 		You guys are lucky. Louisiana schools are the worst in the U.S. by statistics. My school doesn't offer a class like that.

Status: offline 		I remember this from when I was in H.S. (1991)... With all the equipment I am suprised they dont make a more challenging project. When I was in H.S., our rival highschool made an R.C. Plane from scratch (I was big into planes then so, this one hurt me) and they also had the local news paper document their progress.... right up to the maiden flight!

now thats a cool project... but, I guess your teacher willl need to be into it as well,huh?
