thanks cobi. well ive got the floor and bulkheads for the radio room started. all going well. most chalenging will be waist gon positions and scale control cablesw that went thru there. i do not want to weaqken my structure so i my leave thse out as noone will see them. its my ocd kicking in (i really have it) makes me a better flyer and teacher as i pay close attention to detail

HERE ARE THE FLOOR AND REAR BULKHEADS NOT DONE YET BUT IN. FLOOR IS NOT DONE. ONCE THAT GOES IN THE RADIOS WILL GO ON THE REAR BULKHEAD

i am spending this weekend framing up a royal 1/5 corsair. scratch built . just blew up the plans. back to the b-17 soon . Monday most likely

why LOL i have adhd so scale fits me perfectly here is a radio sack all done, wiring to come. OTHER RADIO PLUS PICS OF MY DAUGHTER WITH HER HUBBY AND THE USS KID in baton rouge there are more pics and i forgot how to load

Tim,
Are you making the radio boxes up from styrene sheet, rod, etc? Looks great! Do you just eye-ball the dimensions from photos and ratio them to features in the area that you can scale to the area in your fuselage? Or do you get scientific about it and have data for the dimensions of the radios and scale them accordingly?

its all done according to ratio from full scale stuff. im a math major LOL . here is a new pic of the new bulkhead and one of the radios. There is wiring to install adn lots more to do in there

yes styrene sheet and rod mainly evergreen. im very fortunate to have luke zollner, a scale masters builder vacuform all my oxygen tanks and lots of my internal details. He is an artist. here is a pic of the tanks he made for me. he made my yokes throttles and instrument panels too. a true artist with the vacuform machine

Your detail is amazing. Any chance you can post the actual interior pictures along with your project pictures? It would be neat to see a side-by-side comparison.
