I crashed my Telemaster 40 two days ago and really had the bug to go out today. I built this GP FunOne 10 years ago flying it twice before giving up the hobby till this year. Take off was a real treat with gusty winds and a plane that was not trimmed. I havn't flown anything besides that telemaster 40 in 10 YEARS!!! I think I will pull out my old Telemaster Senior, Stick 40 or Aerostar and finish learning to fly before attempting this again.

What happened right after take off? Was the turn/flip intentional? I couldn't tell. Nice video though!

Heck no.. I was hoping for a nice clean takeoff. But the trim was all crazy and the wind made things worse. Plus it doesn't fly like the Telemaster.

What was wrong with that? Looked like someone who was a little rusty flying in windy weather, that's all.

Was flying last Saturday in 25mph + winds with my Seagull Cesna, that was a hairy flight, only went up twice, however it was the imminent feeling that at any time I was going to get the shopping bag out to pick up the pieces

You got it back on the ground in one piece. That is all that matters in the end. Good job! .
