Just wondering what is a neutral/factory setting, position for the( grub screw )setting on the 2 speed ( i.e. how many turns? ).. was tinkering with it and set it on the floor gave it a little push and the gear mesh sounded really bad and I just meshed it yesterday

The 2speeds clutch should not affect the gear mesh at all. The factory settings for the shift point should be around 1 1/2-2 turns out.
