Ive been looking at the "Wingman 2" ARF that is sold by the thewingsmaker.com. It looks like a Kaos. Anyone have any experience with the plane or the dealer?

You will find the Wingman II to be very similar in concept to World Model's Sky Raider Mach II low wing trainer. I believe that "The Wings Maker" is an outlet for older World Models designs by their U.S. distributor, www.airborne-models.com , but I don't really know for sure how the three are connected.

I just did a review of one of their product line http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=744895 and really like the entire set-up. It is really a World Models plane and flys great. I would think the Wingman 2 will produce similiar results.

It looks just like a World Models Sky Raider Mach-2. If the specs shown are correct though, the Wingman is slightly smaller.

Made in the same factory as WM....but slightly tweaked spec....expect the same qualities as WM.

The WM Skyraider Mach II is an awsome sport trainer or throw around plane for the experienced guys. This plane looks a lot like it as has been said. I have seen wing failures on highly overpowered/proped models (.50 and above). But in general I love world models products.

Thanks for the replies. I ordered a green one and FedEx delivered it last Monday. Double boxed and packed nice and snug. They did a really nice job covering this one. No wrinkles and the seams were almost invisible. Building it was easy enough, even tho the instructions were a little vague. I installed a Super Tigre GS-40 with a 10x6 APC prop, so it should move along pretty well.
All in all, it's a sharp looking plane. I sure hope it flies as good as it looks.

I bought one with the idea of adding it to our club racing (bushing .40) Did you use all the stock hardware? I used different hinges, I didn't trust those tiny things they gave in the kit. I really didn't like the rest of the hardware, but I'm trying it anyway. Just wondering if it will hold together making some tight full throttle turns. I should have mine out in the next few days, waiting on some better weather.
