Way to go Steve! Let us know how the maiden goes. Are you using the two cell 1100 A123 cells from Walmart?

Yeah i got to put about 20-15 flights on her this weekend in Houston, She is an awsome bird. i like her perhaps even better than my fusion, but i do need some more alone time with the Fusion. I''m not a real big fan of 40 size stuff since i cant put a YS 110 on them, but i did the next best thing and put a ys 63 and the combo rocks! Great knife edge, High Alpha, hovers easy, but the most unexpected thing about this plane was the ailerons. VERY effective i love them. This plane is a keeper i kinda wish i had got 2 kits and built em both at the same time. Im gonna need another one as a backup eventually.

Hey Steve that''s awesome and I know you definately know how to fly Yaks. Thanks for the report and I agree on the ailerons. That was one thing I targeted with this new Yak. The thinner wings and shorter wing chord at the tips are what give it that much crisper roll response. Here are the latest pics of my Yak complete with new graphics. Going flying tonight and can''t wait!

I understand that there will be no more Pro

I understand that there will be no more ProYak 47" kits available now that they are all sold out. WHY? There are a lot of modelers that love to build kits. The 47" ProYak is one of the finest kits that I have built. The plane is also one of the finest profiles that has appeared on the flying fields. Sure there are some that want ARFs so let them have them however, the kit builder is and will always be the backbone of the hobby. Hopefully, OMP will change their decision.

Somebody misinformed you Fokker34. Not sure how that info got out but rest assured I'm a die-hard kit guy myself. We still have a few kits of the ProYak in stock and I'll be making more for sure.
