I am just learning about fuels. I did not realize that O'Donnell has a 20% RTR and 20% Racing fuel. I bought the 20% Racing.

From my searches, it seems that Racing fuels usually have less oil in order to allow for higher performance but not good for long term use. However, I could not find the oil content on the O'Donnell web site nor could I find an explaination of the differences between the Racing or RTR.

What is the difference between the Odonnell RTR and Racing fuels?

Is O'Donnell Racing fuel OK for long term everyday bashing or should it be only used once in a while?

For reference, I have a TMaxx Hyper 8 Port .21.

I would like to know this as well, I'm about to purchase an MGT 8.0 with a shed load of other things, and I've got 25% Race Formula in the list, it's only going to be used for bashing in my field, so I don't need race fuel, I've changed it to 30% "Car fuel" (Which I assume is the RTR stuff) for now.

Edit: it seems the racing fuel has 14% and the RTR has 18%

i beleive the rtr has more oil. i'm an airplane guy, and so we always use alot of oil in the fuel, but has to buy into the fact that car fuel has less oil. I've burned everything, including aircraft fuel in my car because thats all that I had. You just need to learn how to retune the needles when ever a change is made. Even a different brand all of them 20% for example will be different mixtures, some by volume, some by weight of nitro content. Ive never had a fuel related failure.
