Thanks Tim but I can't make Waco, gonna be laid up till May. I think Q25 is a great place to start. Yes it's the same speed but the Viper can be a real handfull. It's a great place to let someone fly and learn, and then move up. I myself started that way. We had a Viper and put an OS 32 on it, flew the wings off it. We then went to a Jett SS, and learned more, and got use to the speed. Plus if you want a real challenge, put up some poles, (AMA long course) and fly around yourself. My first ever try at that, I had to pull back to half throttle. I guess even though I'm gonna try 428 this year, I still like the Q25 and 424. I guess I'm lucky, I have access to the planes and engines to run all of them. (Maybe "Spoiled" is a better term) LOL P.S. I'm also working with my club to try and host at least one Q25/C40 race this year.
