I recently purchased a QQ Python for my son, I see the engine of choice is the DA 100 and possibly the 3W106. I have a new Brison 104cc and wondering what kind of performance I would get using it in the Python. I have a 104 Brison in Steve Strickers old TOC Ultimate and it is a match made in heaven. The Ultimate has a 79" WS but only weighs 24lbs. Any info would be appreciated.
Frank

Frank,

Give us some info on your engine:
weight including muffler
RPM it turns with let's say a 27x10 Mejzlik or similar?

My understanding is Brison engines are good for scale models not much mid-range torque for aerobatic but I have no personal experience with them.

Thank you,
Reza

By the time this plane is done with your engine you will be around 27-28 lbs depending on your set up. Your engine will fly it but I am not sure it will be a performer!

It's really up to you at this point to have a high performance airplane or an airplane that flies with very marginal power!

Thank you,
Reza
