Guys,

By placing the engine near the middle of the chassis for better control during drifting,

Does it mean:

(1) It can be a good touring car?

(2) Can it be upgraded into 2 speed tranny in case you want top end speed ?

Thanks

KUMUSTA KA PARA! WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!

puting the engine in the middlr makes the car more balanced.
1. it would be a good touring car.
2. yes you can put the 2 speed tranny on it.

Got this response from HPI support,

The transmission on the new Nitro RS4 3 Drift RTR is placed just behind the front diff. to provide front diff. bias to help pull the car around corners and drift the rear end. It may not be the best way to go for touring car racing. If you really wanted to you could install a 2 speed but it requires the use of the T3.0 engine along with the 2 speed. It would cost about 150-180 to convert.**HPI

Patay ako! lol

I am also thinking of Electric, but for a few dollars more I could get the Nitro.

However forget the price of nitro, I was thinking of pistons, glow plugs, tuning( too rich too thin), A whole lot of hopups and it wont start when your raring to go.

And the nearest LHS, 2 -3 hrs drive that includes the traffic ( if they have the parts).

Damn I think your right. Charge and Go! Electric!

yeah a tt01 is a good electric drift car, it hold it ground against much more expensive brands.
