Great looking radio. I could all most buy one for the same price as a 2.4 module for my 9C. Through then I would have to reprogram all my models.

Looks like a reasonable price and a good answer for the many requests for a new 2.4 9C radio.

I wonder if the 2.4 ghz 7 channel rx will work with it.

thx Trent
i've been on the prepaid waiting list for a Mode 1 version of the 12FG 2.4...........way more radio than i need, and now seeing this, i just came into an extra 600 bucks to spend elsewhere.
Kudos to Futaba as well....they are sure to sell a gaggle of these.

Looks like there won't be a 9C Super 2.4 GHz. This seems to cover that spot.

Odd that Tower has it on their site, but Futaba does not have it on their web site yet.

This seems to be a response to the JR9303 which is selling like hotcakes. Looks like Futaba is still playing castch-up. Wonder if they plan on slipping the delivery date six months or so one month at time ?

This radio does look very attractive to me as well. I wonder with all of the bases now covered in the 2.4 area, how long 72mhz will be around?

I doubt Futaba would offer a product to compliment JR. Xtremelink has a module for JR though. I do not know how trustworthy they are though.

Robbe will make them. Not futaba.

Robbe sell futaba's in europe. So they buy modules from futaba and change them to work with JR.

Thats funny, because it looks to me like JR is playing catchup with their 12X...

Depends on if you are looking through JR colored glasses or Futaba colored glasses

Come on Futaba! Cam Pac on a new radio, in 2008? I know you know about SD-cards. My 12FG has it.
Why?

Pondering as well! But I have chosen to keep my planes in one piece until mice get maze figured out. 9303 looking like a way better choice, and is well represented with a lot of happy flier's. I too would like to upgrade 9cs but a this point at my field 72mhz is the safest way to go. Especially with no bermuda triangle and no one (yet) on my channel.

I'm with you on that one. When I first saw the picture of the guy holding it, I thought, "Holy crap, Bigfoot has been bitten by the RC bug". Seriously, though, I really do think that the TX is normal size, and the guy has huge hands. Maybe he is a professional thumb wrestler.
