I flew mine at 3" but don't go any further back than that.. It starts to drop the tail.. I tried it everywhere from 2.75 to 3.25 and I foun 3" to be the best for me..

Hi There,
Has this plane got any bad faults, EG: Taking off, Landing, or flying it?
I heard that when released from taking off they seem to climb some thing shocking?
How has your slingshot stood up to racing? Is it holding together 0K?
What class of racing are you doing with it 424 or 428?
Thanks.

I had heard the same thing about the take off but I didn't didn't think it was too bad. Mine held up fine right up to the moment it tried to knock down the #2 pylon down in FL. I still have the tail as that was the only part that survived.. In all, it was a very good flying plane..

I've got two Slingshots. With the c of g at 3 1/4", they would turn very tightly, but were a handfull to fly smoothly. Moving the balance point forward to just under 3" smoothed them right out, but did widen the turn around No. 1 out a bit.

All in all, I'm wrapped in my Slingshots.
