if you can beat a $450 nitro with a $150 nitro, it does make it better in my book.

i have run my buggy for 2 years, my truck too, have only stripped 2 sets of gears and havent broken any suspension parts, i am sure they broke on their own, just driving up the street without hitting anything right?

bro, check my gallery then ask me that question again and thats not all of them.

you see the point i am trying to make is that your trying to compair a $150 rc to a $500 one. A 1/8 monster truck to a 1/10 buggy. They are 2 totall different things. Why dont you try to compair the savage to the avalanche, then your talking the same class of rc.

well i dont see any savage in your gallary

i did not create this thread, so i am not try to compare the two
my point is just that sometime not because it is fast and cheaper it better than something that is slow and more expensive. it is more expensive for a reason. And the buggy is cheaper for it own reason

but you did try to compare the 2, isnt that what our whole converstaion is about? You dont see the savage because i got rid of it. its a good truck, i wont take that away from that but very unstable and flips easily.

you keep trying to compare the 2, cheaper, faster, slower more money, it doesnt matter, they are 2 different things, a benz s500 will ride better than corvette but the corvette will eat it up, the vette costs less than the s500 but what does that matter? i am done with this conversation

for example a Traxxas 4tec 3.3 and a hpi rs4-3
the 4 tec 3.3 is faster (70+) and more money compare to the rs4 is slower (50+) but it have better handling and it is cheaper. So which one is better

actually it seems like you dont get the point, you cant compare a $150 buggy 1/10 scale to a $450 monster truck 1/8 scale and the fact that its faster and $300 cheaper is a great thing! No matter what you say, it will not change the fact that the redcat is faster than the savage and $300 cheaper

oh and for your question, the 4 tec is better in a drag race and the hpi is better on the track but they go for about the same money, maybe a few dollars difference. i talk from experience, i own or have owned them.

the tornado is faster (better) than the savage in a drag or a race on smooth terrain
the savage is better for rough and rocky terrain
