Another week closer to spring!!!. When it's -30 C outside sometimes that thought is all that can keep you going!!!. Nothing much to do but work on a model though, so that is a positive on the flip side.

Sunday has once again arrived, so it is time to give us a glimpse of what you might be working on. A teaser with a link to a more involved build thread is fine, and strongly encouraged!!!!. Or maybe you just have a simple technique you want to share?. Either way I encourage you to contribute.

I continued work on my Tiger. Built and added a DBU. In IR battling it is important to have an unobstructed path to the IR sensor. So I made the hatch removable. This allows me to have a low profile IR sensor, and not have the open hatch in the way.

its half term here and johns wiring up our challenger build so i thought that i could find an example of a fairly war torn korean pershing and model my HL M26 on it. i'd just like to say how much i love my M26 it takes everything i throw at it and doesnt argue, i mean i submerged it to the turret today and it just gos on with a big bow wave

I have been working on weathering my M26. YHR, I am at -20C with -40C windchills, so I have my shorts on I still have somemore work to do on the M26. I wasn't really aiming for a historically accurate build. It is only my first tank build, and I am pretty happy with the results so far.

shaunyboy,

I haven't had a chance to run it outside yet....too cold and too much snow. I am looking forward to spring.

The Pershing is a good runner in the snow. Don't be afraid to get it cold.

What have you done to keep the electronics dry. Or do you just spray them with Silcone spray and let them get wet???

YHR,

It is not the Pershing in the cold I am afraid of. It doesn't feel the windchill, or the blizzard like blowing snow stinging my face I will get it outside soon.

ive oil sealed the hull joins with some heavy duty rubber. as for the electronics turret rotation/elevation ive built so transparent watertight ABS plastic compartments. ill take it apart and post some pics in a bit.
