What is the purpose of the jitter settings in sep J of the progarmmer and how is it used ?

The HFP-10 has feature under S-Test Manual (step J) that allows setting the "jitter value" from 0 to 31 micro-seconds.

I guess I don';t know what jitter is exactly and wonder how this feaure is used.

Hope this is clearer.

I've never used this feature but evidentally it's just for testing in the Auto mode, not the Manual mode.

To be honest... I'm really not sure what it is there for!?!?!?!? I've never found a reason to use it.
