Yes is the answer to your question, they are made in Asia and shipped to the States. They are then repackaged and sold as Yellow AC. I think all the kits are made exclusively for Yellow and no one else. Atleast that's my understanding of the company. Regards BobH.

Shaun, thanks. I have been aquainted with Charlie and Co. for some time lol. Even as far back as the split with his brother.. yes that long ago. I was ogling the P-40 at Toledo a few weeks ago. Here is a pic taken at the show.. I forgot to ask Gary D. if the stacks were correct? My son seems to think not.. thanks BobH.

I’ve been looking for a nice warbird for a while now and I think YellowAircraft looks really nice. I've seen many Warbirds manufactured in Asia and they are do not look that nice at all. They might have nice details but they have don’t have the right scale look. Who in Asia is it that makes the models for Yellow?

I believe its a company called FunKey. That's as much as I know.. The Yellow kits (warbirds atleast) are based on (for the most part) plans and/or kits from others. For example, their P-47 was designed by Bert Baker. Hope this helps BobH.

Hi warbird 1 your 2 cents are fine but you still did not awnser the queston .Meaning crapy paint what plane ?or arfs have you seen any of the arfs frist hand? Or the p40 that was at Toledo? As for the camo painted behind the windows it is correct .Just check ospery aircraft of the aces #41 American volunteer group colours and markings . Check the colour plates then check page 61 62 pictures from ww2
