I balanced it with the UAT full exactly where Tam balances the EDF version. Being there is always fuel in it...it is more nose heavy than the EDF version. Still, you can throw the nose up in the air and putt around. It's loads of fun!

Here are the new alluminum wheels...disc brakes are on the way from Tam! The issue with brakes on these lightweight jets is they are just too strong. I had to separate the brake air system from the rectracts and pump it only to 30 psi. Tam's new disc brake system will fix this problem so you can use only one air tank and be able to run the brakes on 100 psi. These new alluminum wheels work great with the o-ring style brakes for now but will be used with the new disc brakes.

Hey Good Reverend,

What kind of flight times are you getting these days with the 1:12 Turbine? Did you put additional 10oz tank in?

For the prototype we used two main tanks from the 1/8 scale F-16. We cut them and joined them to make one 45 oz instead of one 30 oz. I am getting a 5 minute flight with plenty of time to land. The kits will come with 3 tanks just like the 1/8 scale. I think it's two 8 ounce saddle tanks and one 32 ounce main tank. They will be done this week and the turbine kits should be here very soon.

I'm waiting for my passport and visa coming back before book the flight to china to QC this new batch. I had 1/2 of the container had the 1:12 scale F-16 done for turbine version.
The fuel tanks and wheels/brake should be done pretty soon.

Can the EDF 1:12 version be configured to fly in any way like the turbine version (slow, high alpha, blasts to vertical?) Is thurst thurst and it's the same with the EDF version? What configuration would get you there? I have 10S 4250 so I was hoping to use those...

Well....where have I been, then ? Nothing on the site re the turbine version...

So: Is it now ARF for a 44-Gold, now has gear/wheels up to the task/grass......there a Tam pipe for it...or should a Wren pipe be used? Apparently comes w/ tanks and rudder....how much $$$$? 44-Gold flying weight? Tx!

The P-60 prototype dry weight with full UAT is 8 3/4 lbs. It carries 45 ounces of fuel. The 44 gold weight is about 1/2 lb lighter than the P-60. That will give you a take off weight with fuel of around 10 1/4 lbs, almost 1 to 1! Tams pipe is a must as it only weighs a few ounces. No go on grass, the mains are only 1 3/4 inch.
