Thanks! Like the windshield bubbles? That was me farking up a decal job in a big way. LOL

I got the anti-sway kit from RCMart recently. I know it's an offroad buggy, limits suspension travel a bit, yadda yadda, but it wasn't that much $$ and I can't resist the extra bits for RC stuff sometimes. We'll see how it does.

Nice, I like the sway bar!! If you feel that it would restrict the travel too much, maybe run the softest bars!?

Thanks! The red bars are the softer ones, and yeah, I'll switch to them if I want more travel. I went with blue for starters to color-coordinate. LOL

The rear bar is interesting, in that it tucks in between the rear end of the buggy and the main chassis/tub. You have to take the rear end off, and then the rear shock tower off of that, and slide the rear bar in there, and re-attach. It's in there pretty firmly!

Hi guys,

Is this normal?

I finally bought the servo and lock thread, and could finish building the car. As allways when I am done building a car I will check the differential by hand moving one of the rear wheels in one direction and see what happens to the other rear wheel. I did that and it does seem that it is working working as it should, i.e. rotate one rear wheel at one direction, and the other rear wheel rotates in the opposite direction. However, sometimes both of the wheels rotated in the same direction. Have I set the diff too tight (I did loosen it up by 1/8-1/4 rotations, and the wheels do move pretty good)? It is the same with my Mini Inferno 09, and that one is an RTR where I have never touched the differential.

The instructions say to tighten it like that.
It also depends on the motor you're using. i.e. the more powerful the motor the tighter I make my diff.

BTW 3racing realeased the front alloy bulkhead/shock tower.

Thanks for the info!

The motor is a Tamiya sport tuned 23T motor.

I have a 17T motor and when I turn one wheel the other spins in the same direction. It's supposed to be tight.

If you want to stay with a "Stock class" legal motor than your 2 top choices are the Trinity CO27 or the Reedy Stockstar.
I just took 9th overall in the Michigan Indoor state Championships with a CO27. Some of the guys ahead of me were running the Stockstar.

If your asking what tires I used in the state championship race they were Panther Switch clay tires in the rear and Panther Lynx clay tires for the front. Both ground down to near slicks.
The tires I run on my DT-02 MS are Prolines. Holeshots in the rear and 4 ribs in the front.
