Is it normal when i try to use super brain 989 as power supply, the voltage dont stay fix and amp wont too. For exemple, i have tried to give power to a RT-808B charger. So, i have adjust voltage to 12v and amp to 5amp. When i press start, the charger screen light turn on maybe .5 sec then turn off and then turn on after maybe 1 sec then turn off and the cycle continu until super brain stop by himself (about 5-10 sec later). During this time, the super brain voltage indicate about -39volt, then 0 and amp have play too. At the end, when the charger have stopped, the charger indicate about -3.xx volt with a beep alarm.

If i put 12v bulb with this configuration, the light will turn on and the intensity will varie and became relatively stable after few seconds.

Is it normal the power supply function of 989 super brain dont give stable voltage and amp ?

For all they have this charger, would you try the power supply function with bulb or anything else?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Seb

Sorry about that, I must've missed it. The power suplly mode for the 989 isn't meant to power another charger with it. Why not just use the included power supply from the 989? The power supply setting is meant for a constant voltage at a constant amperage.

i have tried the power supply mod with electric motor, for exemple, and the charger is not able to stabilize the volteage. So it seem the charger try to keep constant and change constantly volteage and amp during about 5 sec and then it stop working. Its very weird because i can seen high volteage as 39.89v during this time.

Thanks to help
