Ok so I found a pair of K & B .67 engines the first just arrived and I don't see how I can move the exhaust to the front other than creative plumbing.  2. Where do i find the magical mufflers? and last question, a while back I saw a dumas scarab miami vice version that had a pair of ops .60 and both exhausts went right into a manifold that was at the inside top of the transom and 4 exhaust pipes came out of the rear of the manifold and through the transom  is there a way to make a set up like that work.
appreciate the input
Chris

I pulled up the old ad from the scarab the engines are os fs .61  so i'm guessing the reason they can be run that way is they are 4 strokes

Well
This one is going to Florida. I have it all packaged and will take it to FedEx. Funny thing about the shipping is with the custom box it is $47.01 to ship. Just under 30 LBS
I guess it really pays to have a Fedex account.

well the formula is moving along just got the stringers, motors and outdrives installed. i was able to order some trim pieces from Mack products  he is taking orders on rc groups scale boats forum (frankg) I placed an order it was sent the same day and I received them in 3 days he had all but 2 of the about 16 items I ordered. Real happy with the service and quality . The nav light (I also got the working lens kit) looks real nice and scale.

I already ordered the x457 props which should be showing up anytime now, but i do like those three blades, in going from a two to three blade all things equal do you go larger or smaller on a three blade.. I took a less bleary eyed look at the steering setup today and tore it back out, I went by the tempate that came with the hull to cut the steering holes in the transom, which now seem too low so I redilled them so they are even with the axis of the outdrives hopefully that will solve the problem. if not i'lll post some pics. was  just really frustrated after having to fab one of the trim levers then realizing after I shimmed the outdrive that they would not work because the previous owner had added ply material to the transom which made it too thick so then I made new a whole new set up to trim them.    It has beeen a comedy of errors. but enjoyable.
thanks chris

your welcome for the stickers, Thanks for all the advice. I raised the steering linkage thru the transom and that fixed the trim issues. finishing up water and nitro lines should be ready to fire up next week or so. What fluid do you use in the outdrive?

I guess I can't get pics to show up. It's an amps veldon tunnel hull. Has everything mechanically. It's the benson and hedges with trim tab option on the outboard. I'll try to get pics up of it.
