Can you guess what constellation this comes from?,
This is a RAW photo totally unedited, 15sec exposure during a full moon
Testing the image link more then anything, If all goes well tomorrow i'll post some of the lunar eclipse
I'll get them to look much much better though,

Very nice photos of the ecplise photos!

Well today i developed my first roll of film. Almost... I processed the negative and then made a contact sheet. Which is just a sheet with every picture on it that is the size of the actual film. Next week i will get to actually devlope them. I will try to maybe post the contact sheet if it comes out alright from a scan.

Nice moon shots. Mostly cloudy here but I managed a couple of shots before the moon totally disappeared. I hoped for better, but it has been a while since I mooned anyone.

Took these last year at a boat race. I have since upgraded camera and added some "L" glass and a Canon 40D (loved the fujis but only so far they could allow me to go)

Too much mist and not enough lens kept this from being a good shot - not every day you see planes chasing a twin turbine boat though (Now I have 560mm of zoom so hope to do better next time around)

The rest of the album for anyone interested http://imageevent.com/justaddwata/lirace

Ya i want a nice telephotolens like that big price tag though,

How is the cannon? i'm using a stock nikon d40, very impressive for its price

What were the specs on those moon shots? exposure iso f/stop all that stuff?

Did you photoshop them? like masking

I really like the Cannon
as for the spec i wasnt paying attention on the first couple shots but the last 3 up there
Exposure was -1
ISO 400
F-Stop 5.6
shutter was 2.3 seconds open
White balance Auto
Manual Focus

Hope that helps but like I said they probably could have been better but im still learning

There was no photoshopping involved they are straight from the camera

Nice pictures though, i'm still learning myself,

Although I do know how to photoshop the moon to bring out the edges and stuff.
Still learning with the nebs and galaxies though,

Do you have any others you have shot?
If you get some more post them up let me know how you did them and i'll do the same,
