Anyone else intrested in photography? Got skills? lets see them. Any how to tips would be cool too,
Here is one to start off, I was just goofing off in my office, I'll try to get some better ones up later

iv never really made any attempts at the artsy type stuff. usually i just snapping pictures of cars. although sometimes i get a bit of a cross between the 2. here's a few iv got handy. ill have to go through what iv got see if anythings any good

Beautiful shots hunter. I've always wondered how people do those.... is there some special background paper? or is it digitally edited?

Thanks, ya.. Definitely using a white backdrop box, with about 400 watts of light to wash the whole background.

Then you get a nice white background (once your white balance is set properly on the camera) that you can take all sorts of photos with. Pretty slick!

Ah ok, so its about insane amounts of light and then setting the balance properly. That makes sense. Whenever I've tried to do shots like that I always end up with a definitive look in the background, not that nice "floating object" feel. I'll give it a go sometime and see how it turns out.

I am taking a photography class at my school and will be working on taking some hopefully really good pics. So i am really intrested in camera settings. In your fireworks pics i noticed off to the right side there is like a white outline on the buildings. Do you why that happened? Cause what i see it shuold not cuase the camera is not moving and there usually is not lights around building like that.

Its a combine nation of long exposures and short exposures and using programs to mask and stack images to produce a very detailed image, I've getting more into this with astrophotography, alos the ISO settings and apture size have alot to do with it.

All my photos will be taken with a Nikon D40 one the best entry level DSLR
