I might get one, not sure, but when will it hit the market? Spring coming or summer?

I'm getting one. Got a Revo now. Can't wait.

Although it is rumored that Traxxas is coming out with a 1/8 scale monster. We'll see.

Probably get it beginning of summer.

I think it's amazing, gigantic, stupendous, magnificent, earth ripping goodness.

I AM NEW TO THE nitro trucks, but I was wondering if you had to choose between the three of the trucks listed which one to pick and why. I am going to purchase one of them but am undecided.

1) Savage xl 5.9

2) Cen Genesis 7.7

3) Team Associated MGT 8.o

go for the MGT.

They say they beefed up the uprights and they better have because with the wider axles it's going to put more stress on them. They are one of the worst parts for braking. I think I'll wait till it's been out for a while before I decide. Then I'll more than likely just buy the parts and upgrade my X. I like the custom wheel base of my x IRC TVPs and I doubt the motor is very good and is probably some moded hellie junk motor like the hotbodies .46. My x has proven itself and HPI will have to prove to me the xl is on par with my x before I buy anything.

your right, i believe in you get what you pay for. a few friends back in boston have axial .28's. im not really that impressed with that engine. its ok, good down low, not much up top. for a $120 its a deal, but again, you get what you pay for. i love my picco, thats a pretty good engine for the $200. next engine i buy is the o.s. speed 21 vz-bv special. i seen a few of them run and all i can say is its worth the $500......i can also toss my picco in and compare engines......

Yes and no, mostly no in regards to the Axial. The Axial should never be compared to a higher end engine. Lots of people on this forum do and for whatever reason, I'll never know. Axials are bashing engines, nothing more, nothing less. They do a awesome job at that, but will never equal a higher end engine. Even my ported and turbo headed Axial sucking down 30% Platinum cannot compare to a higher end engine. Common sense dictates that Piccos and the like are racing enigines and thus will easily outperform a engine more suited to ripping up someone's backyard rather than a track. Nuff said about that.
