Status: offline 		I currently bought a new computer with windows vista home premium, 64bit

Intel® core™2 Quad cpu Q6600 @ 2.4ghz 2.39dhz processor, 4095mb ram, two ATI x16 video cards (lots of power and memory) .

I attended E-Fest at Champaign, IL Feb., sat. 9th and was impressed with realism of
the aerofly professional deluxe demo. So, I bought the software and am trying to get up and going.

I installed the sftwe.

When I click on the Aerofly icon all I got was blank screen and task manager tells me the software is not responding.


Update:
I have been told to disable UAC and load the software as comes.

Now I get messages "cyclic redundancy check" on files and the installation stops!



Is there anyone out there that can help me get this software loaded and working???

Can you tell me what is the version number printed on your AFPD main disk?

Do you have any addon disk(s)?

Which type of ATI video card are you using? Pls refer to the list of recommended 3D video cards at the bottom of this page http://www.aerofly.com/www/requirements.html The card has to be OpenGL 2.0 compatible with the latest driver installed

Status: offline 		Hi Larry, additionally, pls check for any dirt or scratches on the disk. Try cleaning any dirt on the disk with a soft cloth. If there are any scratches, you may try polishing it off with soft car wax.

Aerofly version 1.11.7.1

Have one addon (#3) disk (True scale edition) pcdvd #3021011 although i haven't tried to load it yet.

(2) two ATI (x16 pci express graphics cards.) visionTek (512mb GDDR4 memory) directx10.1 ATI radeon cross fire technology.


What do you think is causing the "cyclic redundancy check" errors.

no dirt on disks!

Did you disable UAC when you installed the main disk? Pls email me your tm.log file which you can find in the following directory

C:\Program Files\IPACS\AeroFly Professional Deluxe

You may open the file with a text editor like word or notepad. Just copy and paste the entire content into your email.

A while back, an instruction sheet came out that AFPD had to be installed at C:\rheal\users\documents\IPACS\Aerofly Pro Deluxe\ on computers with VISTA operating systems.

Now, is it OK to install it at C:\program files\IPACS\AFPD with UAC turned OFF.
