i was just curious to know if there was ANY sort of issues with the 989 and chaging lipo's....a couple guys tried to tell me that the charger Isnt meant for lipo's and "supposedly" they swell packs.....Ive owned my 989 for a month or 2 now and charged multiple Losi 2000's and a couple Protec 3300's with Zero issues....except for the fan cycling on and off when i charged the 3300 once...any idea as to what that was ?...Any info would be greatly appreciated....thx alot

Status: offline 		The 989 has no problems charging LiPos. It uses the proper CC/CV charge method for lithium batteries. I would certainly use a balancer with lithium batteries, but the 989 is a proper lithium charger. Tha fan goes on and off as needed.
