Hey guys,

I am ready to buy a 50 CC Wild Hare but I went to a Big indesicion now I like the Sukhoi and the Extra 300 I wish I can buy both but if I do I will probably sleeping on the street. anyway I am ready to order now and I need your .002 and let me know the caracteristic of each plane if you can. I did see both videos and both look amazing. I try to decide this weekend because for sure I don't want to call Wild Hare to find out the they are out of stock.

Thanks

I like both too, maybe the Sukhoi is more bad ass if needed.Thats my take.I have no experience, only studied the threads.
The Suk has a bit more wing area too, and has plenty of happy owners. The Extra is sexy and sleek.Buy both ,live on the street

What do you want to do? If all you're going to do is fly for fun and want to 3D well and a lot then it's the Sukhoi. It will fly 3D circles around the Extra. I hate to say that because someone might think that the Extra could be a slouch. It's not. Not by any means.

If you want to go fly IMAC contests and do 3D on the side then you're in a tough spot. Both fly IMAC very well.

Very tough decision. In the beginning there was no contest... I had to have the Honda Sukhoi and I do not regret it at all. Time to go bigger and the decision became tougher. Bigger Red Bull Sukhoi or the 35% Extra? I couldn't make up my mind at all.... So I get on the phone, finally convinced that I was going to by the big ol Sukhoi,,,,Changed my mind on the phone and bough the Extra... Whichever you decide to get you won't be dissappointed. THey are both fine planes and with a good set-up they both should perform very very well.

They're both great models and I don't think you'll be at all disappointed by either one. When I was asking around about which model to buy this proved to be a great piece of advice.

I'll repeat what my IMAC mentor told me; "you'll probably fly a model that you like better than one you don't like, but bought because it was supposed to fly better..."

Get the one you like best...

That's my advice too!

Forget completely about how they fly, either one will do anything you want. Instead concentrate on looks and charisma. The plane you are proud to display will be the most fun.

And practice is more important than the plane's basic characteristics. If you spend more time flying you will do better.

I like the looks of the Extra better than the Sukhoi, it's just my personal preference. I don't care for round cowls all that much, only because of looks.

Hehehe....Boy, don't I know how THIS feels! I bought the Edge and every time I look at photos of the Extra I sigh and lean my head over and look longingly at it. Until I look at the Edge sitting here. I recommend the Extra.....that Red & Yellow scheme is smokin'! I'm obviously going on looks here, but that's my vote! When I can, I'm going to get the Extra as well.

I've had and flown both the Sukhoi and new version Extra. The Extra is still my favorite. It seems more locked in a slower and high attitude stuff. I sold the Sukhoi to a good friend and he loves it. I also just sold the V2 Extra last week. Guess what I bought? Yup, I bought the WildHare 35% Extra. I'm still unsur if I'll do the DA 100 or the DA 85. What to do??

I currently own both as well and agree with Marzo 100%. I built and flew the Sukhoi first - great flier although a tad more snappy than the Extra. 3d on the Sukhoi is great and it will lock into hovers much better than my Extra (though not that much better). Extra flies IMAC a bit better IMO and is much more stable in high alpha. Wicked knife-edge spins that the Sukhoi won't do for me. Both are great, but since I've had the Extra going - the Sukhoi has been in storage and will go up on the auction blocks very soon.

Can't go wrong with either - my favorite is the Extra if I had to pick though...

Your note about KE spins with the 29% Sukhoi is interesting. With mine they would wind up so tight with the wing absolutely vertical it was scary. It must be something in the set up that causes the difference.
