well, now im not sure what to do. i think im going to go see what different classes there are and then decied. i heard the avalanche is a very nice truck but its hard to go buy a truck that everyone says is crap here. it would be alot easyer if i could drive one and then deciede

not tring to sound rude but if your worried about what everyone else thinks then your only screwing yourself they are probly just name brand junkies. meaning they think b/c they have a name brand rc they have the best well can you guess who the fool is?lol

lol no im not worryed about what they think. i gess i said that the wrong way. i just mean when you hear somthing is junk from more than one person and those people have tried these redcat you believe them. i was saying that i would like to see one of these avalanches go compared to the savage or other hpi cars.

they never said the avalanche was junk. the shop owner had a few volcanos and a hurricane. he said he was happy with them for a while. then he tried a hpi. he said he couldent believe the difference. he said they were way stronger. he sold his volcanos and hes selling his hurricane for like 200$ with like tons of parts. i couldent belive how many parts he had for it, like enough to build another 2 hurricanes and it looked preaty much brand new. i am still considering the avalanche but i like that mt 2

The Savage is not a Race Truck. WAY to high center of Gravity (can you say roll over). Sposed to be a Great Basher tho. It Does have very LONG travel shocks. I' like to have one, But im gonna get an Avalanche first. I wanna try Racing it.

lol dont worry about what other people say I got a traxxas Tmaxx 3.3 a duratrax Warhead with a sportwerks 26 and the monsoon. The monsoon is the only one that has not had that many propblems. I finally killed its steering servo after about 1.5 gallons threw it. The 3.3 and the warhead also have to have alot more money in them to make them as competitive as the monsoon. Monsoon has about $460 in it, the warhead has over $1000 in it and the tmaxx has about $1000 in it check out my gallery to see how nice a monsoon really is. Just cuz others arent informed on off brands doesnt mean that the off brands are worse. I think they are on par with traxxas and losi (dads got an aftershock) and way better than duratrash.

You are right about the money and the warhead, but when the thing is running its amazing. trick is you have to keep it running. I dont have that much into mine, but I can see how you could.

no i dont think he had bad luck with redcat they just went to new owner ship recently and the guy that owns them now has complety turned the company around the old stuff i will agree may have been bad but the new stuff like the monsoon, the avalanch, tsunami, are all amazing!!!!! lol i know the warhead is great its wicked fast with the sportwerks in it but i've been having drivetrain problems recently and have been working out all the bugs. I got most of them worked out now and i expect it to be much better from now on after i fix the blown spur gear it should be my last and final problem everything should be fixed after the spur gears fixed, got lots of hop ups that fixed all its issues

The Nitro MT is already the best-handling 4WD stadium truck available, so you'd think we would leave the suspension alone. Well, we couldn't just let that go without a careful look and an awesome redesign! The front end has been totally redesigned, from the shock tower to the arms and uprights. It all results in a more stable truck in the turns. The composite shock absorbers are longer both front and rear, and are designed for easier rebuilding while providing all the cushion a Nitro MT 2 racer could want. The front shocks now feature a stroke of 70-103mm and the rears have 77-117mm. Stronger plastic parts all around continue the philosophy of the Nitro MT 2: more durability, more driving time!

get a monsoon all the hpi guys try to push there stuff, thats like the savage vs revo or hellfire vs monsoon they always say there stuff is better because they know they paid too much for them I'd get a monsoon over any other product, its a really great deal on a great truck like i said put about $100 bucks in it and throw a new radio and a new steering servo in it and your competitive!!! Its only about $460 for a competitive monsoon, instead of what 600+ for a hellfire???

when i go bashing and racing with my dad, his savage has always something up with it. Redcats are soo reliable compared to other brands.
also, my traxxas tmaxx is broken-again. my little tornado bb is still going perfect.
