I'm trying to set up my first plane with dual aileron servos. I have a 6ch RX.

I set PMx1 and activated it as channel 1 master, channel 6 slave. I did manage to get proper aileron response. Problem is when I try to set dual rates for channel 1. When I flip the switch I lose all movement on channel 6.

I can verify during the setup that when I flip the DR switch the setting will show OFF. There must be a way to do this - what am I missing?

Thanks!

Scott

You don't need to use the P-mix function for this. The Optic supports a dual aileron setup using channel 1 and 6. Just activate your FLPN mix for this and your D/R will control both channels.

Loving this radio but still learning; Another quick question.

I have a 3 channel delta with elevons enabled and added a bomb door. 3 servos total now. The RX in this model is a 4 channel. I really wanted to use my retract switch to drop the payload.

I slaved channel 4 off channel 5. Seemed to work at first.

But, as I switched to dual rates on SW-3 I lost the relationship in my programming and the bomb door servo centered. Hmm...

I tried the other slot, PMx2 and got the same behavior when I switched D/R SW-1.

I guess I'm just not grasping the relationship between the programmable mixes and the dual rate switches. Is there a way to slave ch4 RX off ch5 TX and have ch4 unaffected by either D/R switch?

Thanks again!

Scott

Unfortunatley, you are limited with your options here. Unless you want to get a 5+ channel receiver, this is your only option.

Mike.
