Me not worried.

I am sure it was just another of the many crappy 1/5 scale models that I also have seen.

When I was in China in October of 2007, I saw about 5 1/5 scale models. They were total jokes. Yeah the price was decent for a 1/5 scale but the quality on them and fit and finish was to laugh at.

Like everything else, there is good stuff and bad stuff from many different factories around the world.

Darin

I have received images on the Buggy and Truck. There are a few but will be getting more closeups of suspension, engine and more later.

Simply go here:

http://www.redcatracing.com/15scale.asp

There is no pricing as of yet, but we do expect them to be very competitive with other 4WD 1/5 scale vehicles.

Have fun.

Darin

Big mean vehicle needs a big mean name

Anyone else see "C-HUB" front suspension? thats awesome! All the other manufacturers have the Kingpin... GLAD TO SEE C-HUB on a 1/5 scale

Glad to see all hex hardware, a BIG goodie feature for redcat!

Look, no sloppy kingpins here!

redcat has a first here... i haven't seen a 1/5 scale with C-Hub before. I think we'll start seeing more one fivers (1/5'ers) with C-Hub and hopefully PBS

I found one big potential concern though... the turnbuckles dont have anything preventing them from falling off

What kind of differentials are they using? Is there a center one? And other than marketing factor, is there any reason why redcat/himoto is obsessive about aluminum shock towers? At 1/5 scale the forces are incredible, in vehicles with upright shock towers like that they bend easily

Hey Darin. They look great. Put me down for one of each. Let me know if you need someone to do some beta testing for you before you make them official...I'd be happy to beat the heck out of one for you.

Anyone one know what kind of clutch they are using? Is it just the stock CY one or did you guys spec out a higher quality one?
