Hi Tim, thanks for the compliment...but I'm not a great builder, I just do a great deal of building. Look up Tom Dixon, Windy Urtnowski, Phil Granderson, Bob Hunt, Paul Walker, Dan Rutherford, Howard Rush........for guys who not only build pretty but very light. In the pylon and pattern arenas there are dozens of others who are masters at the craft. Comp 3D has its' own budding crop of geniuses. Most of the excellence in this functional art is competition driven......for those who down grade competition, they have that to thank for the excellent array of sport models to choose from that use advanced techniques and design wisdom.. Anyway, the twin is getting the same treatment on the bottom side that it did on top. I need to sand the fillets and apply at least one primer coat of epoxy, then glass the bottom and bring it up to the same level of "doneness" that the top side is at. Then the whole works will get treated to a nice coat of 2 part primer, more sanding, more primer, then top coat the whole enchilada with flat black Klasskote. Whew!
