i always try to stay away from these threads cause a lot of people talk trash and have nothign to back the bable they spew.
first off .....your 1968 firebird has cats? huh why would you put cats on a car that doesnt require emissions? did you mean 2x mufflers?
hp limit in california is what ever you can cram in there and pass emissions. there is no law against 1,000 hp as long as you dont pollute.

It tracks accelerational and decelerational G forces, lateral G forces, yaw rate, throttle position, steering angle, engine output, and wheelspin and through the use of an electro-hydraulic all-wheel drive, it puts the power wherever it needs it most to keep the car fast through the corners. Blisteringly fast. There's just something cool about a car that can shift from 2-wheel drive to 4-wheel drive, and just about any point in between all by itself, depending on what the car is doing, and what it needs to stay firmly stuck to the track.

then what is it? fastest car to be picked by someone who likes the movie the fast and the furious?
then you say it was raced in "their production class" and porshe, ferrari and jaguar are in that class?
what class is this?
whats full production?
the point here is dollar for dollar

you can buy an hpi rs4 and dump major money in it , it will be the fastest nitro car around.
take this gtr skyline thing. its what $80k? doing 12-13 sec 1/4?
my firebird does 12-13 seconds.
then you spend much more to be extremely fast?
what do you think would happen if i spent the same amount of money in an american made muscle car? vette, viper, t/a ?
point is yes that a fast car
but why spend $100,000 to do that speed when you can get it for less?
