Originally posted by WhiskyVR-4 So, let me get this straight. You are suggesting that any sort of racing other than drag racing is european. Right. Internationally (meaning NOT JUST EUROPE) soccer is the most popular sport, followed closely by Formula 1. Thats not europe, thats everywhere but here. Let me address your second statement. You claim that American Culture is limited to drag racing. Then by that logic, Indy Racing League teams, CART teams, American Le Mans teams, and even NASCAR teams are not participating in an American Motorsport. So Dale Earnhart was unamerican then because he didn't race in a straight line? Go figure. Oh, and people think you come off as being rude because you lack tact. Phrases like "we aren't in euope buddy" simply ARE rude and adversarial. How do you expect people to take things like that?
apparently I'm not the only 1 debating your statements about that car supposably being the fastest. I'm sorry but i wouldnt pay 2x as much for a car jus to make it street lgeal, thats just stupid. 99.9% of the country does not race street or european style tracks. 95% of the country probably doesnt even care about european racing affairs. Again your comparing apples and oranges as you would say, because NASCAR is totally different than production model racing. As I said, we arent in europe, get over it and if you cant handle my statements grow up a bit. THere is nothing wrong with them, jus blunt facts. Sorry if the truth hits ya harder than others, but thats what school teaches you to handle. And by the way you talk I know you've been through it, you speak very well. Again, jus saying, not trying to be rude, but if you percieve it that way its your buisness.
