hi guys. was thinking is it possible for everybody to post their set ups here for different conditions usage. e.g. set up for driving on asphalt, carpet, smooth cement surface, bumpy roads, etc. will post mine when I get the most suitable set up. tks in advance.

Well, I have all the electronics lined up for the TA-05. Now all I need is, well, the TA-05.

Since this will be a pretty powerful motor, what upgrades should be a must-get when it comes in. I'm already considering that armid belt upgrade and probably new driveshafts, but I don't know where to go from there.

Since I'm already here, I should ask how to gear my 5.5 motor as well. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

i would get the blue belts, aluminium out-drives, 64dp gearing, the ratio depends on what surface you will be running it on.

has anyone used the 3racing carbon fibre lower deck for the IFS? is it good? or anybody know if Tamiya has come out with their own carbon fibre deck? i heard rumours that they(tamiya) already came out with it in Japan.

bro rcluke, this is for ta-05 or the 05 IFS?

and bro vader, the blue aramid belt is definitely better & worth buying. was trying out the stock belts & it sucks big time. u might wanna try 105/39 gearing combination.

Need help/advice. No silly remarks pls.

I've just installed front one-way for the IFSR. My rear ball diff I've locked by tightening. Prob is, the rear wheels will lock when I release my throttle. If I do not tighten the ball diff the ball diff, it'll slip. When can be done?

I've tried removing the 8 metal balls from the ball diff and tighten but it performs the same..
