The rear tires pointing inward helps the car track straight during acceleration if your talking about the toe in. If its the camber it will help increase the tire surface area to the ground during cornering.

The stock setting is 2 degree toe in in the rear. Helps with stability. You can change that by changing the mounting blocks for the rear arms.

I assume you know how to calculate the rollout. Go to the gearing wizard on RC universe and it will help you. The idea is that you should have as close to a 1:1 ratio between rollout and your final drive ratio. Here is a link to the calculator.http://www.rcuniverse.com/community/gearwizard.cfm
Obviously this is a guide. Start at this point then see what your car runs best at without overheating.

it is based on your pinion and spur size.

the calculation for working it out is near the back of your instruction manual

I want to have a shot at drifting my TA05 and want to lock up the rear diff. Is there a way of locking it WITHOUT stuffing it up?
There is a group that drift locally in the car park outside a local hobby shop, but the majority of the guys are running TT_01s or are running permanently locked diffs.

Well, I finally did it. My TA-05 IFS is now on the way, and I should have it monday or tuesday of next week. I got the NSX body, but I'm planning on using it just to learn how to drive, and buying a Lamborghini body to use when I get good.
