It's 99.8% done. I have yet to get the grub screw to stay secured to the motor shaft without falling off, and I haven't painted the body. I did get to drive it though. Since this is my first decent touring car ever, I might just be restating old stuff. I couldn't believe how tight this thing turns, how fast it accelerates, and how well it keeps the rear end planted unless you really get on the gas. After building it, I have only a couple of gripes with it. I don't like how the hexes on the axles are just held there by the wheel, and how the pin slides out of the axle. I also didn't like that it weighs at least as much as my Evader did, or maybe just a little more. That doesn't seem to affect performance, and I guess the extra weight means it's more durable. Overall, I'm VERY satisfied with how this kit went together. I have to admit I was just a little skeptical when buying a Tamiya for the first time (scared of brands I'm not used to) but I will be buying from them again if I see the need to expand my collection. thanks a bunch for the advice and tips guys!
