The car handles like its on rails. Minimal shifting of the body, no fishtailing. I have been able to take most corners at full speed without losing it even a little. Problem is that full speed doesn't always make for the smoothest turns. Last year was my first year racing though so hopefully I'll do better this year.

BigT: I have an IFS that I put front and rear stablizers on and it does help turn in quite a bit. You can also loosen your rear diff a little (1/16th of a turn) to keep it from grabbing and getting loose on you. Hope you don't mind the additional input, but I was having the same problems coming out of turns, not now.

Some pics of my TA 05 IFS as it is now. I will post some of the bits when the all arrive and some of it when all reassembled.
I am in the process of painting up an EVO V111 Lancer body at this very moment.

mkoresh, I saw your pictures posted above and noticed that you have the stabilizer (sway bay) kit. did you car handle differently at all? I'd like to prevent my car from tailing in the corners so much.

the rear end breaks loose and starts sliding.

kmartin and mkoresh, thanks for the advice. I too seemed to be having problems exiting the turn more then entering them. (I still gotta get the apex right) but anything that might help will be awesome. thanks again guys.

oh, fishtailing

on polished wood floor, i removed the front sway bar and put a medium strength on the rear (because it digs into corners better, and because i lost one of the screws from the front one

OMG,They're breeding lol.
As for the loose handling,I used to do away with the rear stabiliser on my 1/10 nitro cars and run really soft rear springs. It seemed to give me a lot more traction on the back end.
This was the case with both my Kyosho RRR Evo and my Kyosho FW05 RR. Might be worth a try.

Changing to softer springs may help. However, if you are currently running the out of box setup its already rather soft. Nitros also tend to have more heft than an electric, possible reason for the benefit there. I found the stock spring/oil way to soft for my liking. I've upgraded to TRF shocks with 35wt oil, yellow TRF springs. So far I like this setup for my TA05. I'm running on ashpalt.
