juvaknin -> Electric Pylon "Amps" Problem.. (2/22/2008 10:55:17 AM)

Hey guys,
i have Graupner Pylon NEMESIS 640mm
i'm using this motor/esc/battery (i added links..)
Motor Link

ESC Link

Lipo Link

i'm using APC Prop 4.7X4.2 and my problem is that at middle stick it's draw 21A and full stick it's draw 41A !!
so my battery drop down after only about 60 sec... ?! (as i tested it)
my question.. what is wrong there? it's should be like this??
if i'll change prop to 4.7X4.0 there will be any diffrents? or only minimal diffrent?
what you guys recommending??
Thanks!!
here is the photo of the Nemesis..

What is happening is correct the motor KV is to high should be about 3000 and battery is to small , Maximum amps for battery is 21 amp

you could try going to a apc 4.1x4.1 prop that will drop the amps a bit. That i a very high kv motor though. Probaly meant to be set up with a geardrive.

just drop one cel out of pack and will do just fine. I have the smaller version and got 52mph no wind today with it. with a all up weight of 3.25 ounce
